1. Introduction

  • 1.1. Owner of Website; These websites (www.jforex.com), (www.jforex.com.au) and (www.jforex.online) along with their sub domains owned by J FOREX AND TRADERS PTY LTD (ABN: 55 636 202 741) trading as J FOREX MONEY TRANSFER (“J FOREX”). In this document we/us may refers to J Forex Money Transfer or in short as “J Forex.” Sender: is the person who is initiating remittance. Sending country is mainly referred to Country where the remittance is initiated from. Beneficiary: refers to the person who is going to receive that remittance.
  • 1.2. By ordering any of the Services listed on this Website or Mobile App, you agree to be legally bound by these Conditions. You will be unable to proceed with your purchase if you do not accept these terms and conditions as may be modified or amended and posted on this Website or Mobile App from time to time.
  • 1.3. J FOREX reserves the right to revise and amend the Website or Mobile App, our disclaimers and the Conditions at any time which may be without notice to you. Your continuous use of the Website or Mobile App (or any part thereof) following a change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine and review whether we have changed these Conditions.
  • 1.4. All applications and websites are owned by J FOREX (which may also be referred to as we/us/our)
  • 1.5. We are regulated by Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) as well as Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis (AUSTRAC). We can be identified on the ASIC Register by our ACN 636 202 741

2. Registration

2.1. By registering via our website or our Mobile App, you adhere

  • 2.1.1. That all the details you provide to us for the purpose of registering on the Website or Mobile App and purchasing the Services are true, accurate, current, and complete in all respects.
  • 2.1.2. To notify us immediately of any changes to the information provided on registration or to your personal information.
  • 2.1.3. That you are over the age of eighteen (18)
  • 2.1.4. To use the Website and Mobile App, through your login and account only
  • 2.1.5. To ensure all confidential information (passwords, OTPs, logins) stay confidential
  • 2.1.6. Not to disclose your password to anyone
  • 2.1.7. During the course of registration process, J forex may access your device camera to capture and save your selfie or short video to identify you along with your ID documents
  • 2.1.8. To change your password immediately upon discovering that it has been compromised.
  • 2.1.9. To neither transfer nor sell your login details, under no circumstance.
  • 2.1.10. To provide us with correct, accurate, complete, and truthful details which are necessary for us to provide you with our services, for example, full name, address, bank account details. (As well as any other details which are deemed necessary)
  • 2.1.11. To not use our Services to commit fraud, money laundering, financial crime, financing terrorism or any similar activities. You expressly agree that we have an immediate right to immediately cancel any Services or account provided to you, without notice to you, and to report it to the appropriate policing or regulatory authority, where we suspect or detect that any crime is being committed by you, the payee or beneficiary or any third party on your behalf.

3. Eligibility

3.1. To be eligible to purchase the Services on this Website / Mobile App and lawfully enter into and form contracts with us, some criteria may be but are not limited to.

  • 3.1.1. Be at least 18 years of age.
  • 3.1.2. Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
  • 3.1.3. Be physically present in the territory of sending country at the moment of completing your transactions unless travelling outside of sending country on a temporary basis.

3.2. Provide full details of an address of where customer resides.

3.3. Identification requirements for Online Payment:

  • 3.3.1. Valid Photo identification (Passport or Driving License) Coloured and Clearly readable scan.
  • 3.3.2. Address Verification (any valid utility bill / bank statement or council tax bill
  • 3.3.3. Your complete contact details

4. Contract Formation

4.1. It is your responsibility to ensure that all contact details are provided with complete utmost accuracy and are the most recent.

4.2. J FOREX reserves the right to decline any order, without any explanation

4.3. Upon acceptance of an order, it is the customers responsibility to review any receipts or confirmation notices to ensure that details provided are accurate and correct, the customer may print a copy for future reference if deemed so

5. Price and Rates

5.1. All prices and rates will be stated clearly on our Website/App, which are regularly updated.

5.2. If any circumstantial fees do apply, they will be clearly stated during the course of the transaction before payment is required.

5.3. J Forex does make significant efforts to display correct and accurate rate/fee on our platforms, but we reserve the rights to cancel any transaction in case of any mistake in displayed rates like (but not limited to): typing error, technical or system failure etc.

5.4. J FOREX is not liable for any loss when fluctuation occurs during the transaction process.

5.5. Fees are subject to change without prior notification, it is the responsibility of the user to review their transaction and analyse the amount of fee, if any fee does apply.

6. Payment

6.1. Payment can be made through our provided payment options (these options may change without prior notice so please check carefully while initiating your remittance) listed below but not limited to (payment options may change due the different sending countries, not all the payment options are available in every county):

  • 6.1.1. Apply Pay
  • 6.1.2. Google Pay
  • 6.1.3. Credit/Debit Card
  • 6.1.4. Bank Transfer (PayID)

6.2. When making payment it should be from a personal account and not a commercial account

6.3. Any relevant information for services may be written for easier identification and referencing for your transaction. (Reference Number, Receiving Beneficiary or Client ID)

6.4. In circumstances where confidential information like (but not limited to) Identity documents or bank card details are required for payment processing, you agree to disclose this information within due time when it is requested by us.

6.5. While J FOREX has and will ensure all reasonable precautions have been taken so that your order and payment details remain secure. However, unless any negligence on our part is involved, we cannot be held responsible for any loss you may experience if a third party gains unauthorised access to the data you provide while using our website or Mobile App.

6.6. All the payment must be made coming from sender’s personal bank account, Payments from Joint or 3rd party’s account is not accepted.

6.7. We do NOT accept cash as payment mode for the remittance.

6.8. We do NOT accept cash deposit into our account.

6.9. We do NOT accept cash or bank cheque deposit into our account. Please note there may be penalty of 10% of sending amount and up to $200 if you pay against clause 6.6 , 6.7, 6.8 or 6.9.

7. Payment Delivery

7.1. J FOREX will ensure transactions are processed to correctly given beneficiary account details or Bank Account

7.2. In situations where we deem appropriate, we may contact you about your transaction.

7.3. J FOREX will ensure most transactions will be credited in our stated timeframe. In certain circumstances some factors may be out of our control, which may result in delay. Some factors may include but are not limited to.

  • 7.3.1. Bank security hold.
  • 7.3.2. Incomplete/Incorrect account details given.
  • 7.3.3. Compliance Issues (Expired ID, Invalid Beneficiary details or ID Requirements)
  • 7.3.4. Private or public telecommunication, compute network failures
  • 7.3.5. Labour shortages
  • 7.3.6. Public and Banking Holidays
  • 7.3.7. Natural Disasters
  • 7.3.8. Other factors of Force Majeure

8. Cancellation

8.1. In situations where the customer requires cancellation or refund, they may request for one in writing once approved we will then begin the refund process.

8.2. J FOREX may recommend resolving any issues through contacting us

8.3. J FOREX also holds the right to decline and reject any cancellation or refund request made by a customer even without any reason.

8.4. If payment has been credited or collected by beneficiary, we are unable to approve or authorise any refund or cancellation process.

8.5. A refund or cancellation fee of $30 may be incurred.

8.6. J FOREX is not liable for any delay in the refunding process.

8.7. We are not liable for any FX loss during the refunding process.

8.8. Please note that J Forex reserved full rights in taking legal action in a court for recovery of any sums you may owe us.

8.9. J Forex reserves the right to debit funds from your transaction if you owed any amount from previous transaction/s or if there is any

8.10 Please note there may be penalty of 10% of sending amount and up to $200 if requested by to cancel a transaction which is currently held in compliance

9. Complaints

9.1. We believe that there is always room to improve our standards, which we always make efforts for but in cases of any feedback, dispute, comment, concern or complaint about any Services you have purchased from us, please contact us via email at info@jforex.com.au or by filling out the contact form on our website (www.jforex.com). We may also accept complaints from you, where we allow, via other mediums for sending such complains including but not limited to in-app or website notices or requests for this purpose, chats, or calls to our customers service centre.

9.2. If you are not satisfied with how we have managed your complaint, as a customer you may also contact The Financial Ombudsman Service, Australian Financial Complaints Authority Limited (AFCA). For more information, please visit their website (www.afca.org.au)
